Israel is attacking Lebanon's healthcare system

On October 3, 2024, the Lebanese Red Cross reported that Israel had attacked a convoy in south Lebanon and had killed four paramedics, along with a Lebanese Army soldier. The convoy was evacuating wounded, and its movements were being coordinated with the UN peacekeeping force, UNIFIL.

On the same day, Lebanese authorities reported that Israel had attacked a medical centre in central Beirut, killing nine people.

On RT International, Dimitri Lascaris explained that these latest crimes were part of Israel's systematic attempt to destroy Lebanon's healthcare system, just as Israel did in Gaza.

Lascaris also argued that there is a high probability that Israel will fail to expel Hezbollah from south Lebanon.
