The ancient city known for its hanging gardens, might have also been the birthplace of the world's first written laws? That's right! King Hammurabi carved his code into a huge stone stele around 1754 BC, giving us rules like "an eye for an eye." Talk about a serious case of keeping score! And speaking of gardens, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon were so lush that some historians think they might've actually been in Nineveh.
