I personally contacted Archimedes, the company that produces the unique and game-changing innovation in Wind Energy, Liam FI Wind Turbine. I am glad they responded to my email.

Here are the key points from the response I received:

The company is unable to offer turbines in every location but can export them from South Korea or their manufacturer in India.

Two sizes of the AWM turbine are available: AWM750D (75 cm diameter, 100 W rated output, and 140 W maximum power) and AWM1500D (1.5 meters diameter, 700 W rated kinetic energy, and 550 W rated electrical power).

Both models have a 3 phase alternating current output with different voltage ranges.

Wind speed recommendations: Shut down the turbine above 14 m/s, though it's tested up to 50 m/s.

Low sound levels and closed rotor design make the turbine bird-friendly.

The turbine is made of mostly recyclable materials like steel and aluminum, with a high residual value.

Annual output varies depending on local wind conditions and installation height. Low wind speeds mean lower annual output.

Special prices for Indian-made turbines: $1700 for AWM750D and $3200 for AWM1500D (without transport costs and customs duties).

A controller is not included, but the customer can choose between off-grid and grid-tie controllers. Prices range from $500 to $1000.

Customers can order controllers directly from a Chinese manufacturer for a potentially lower cost.
