Truck Driver Going Wrong Way On The Highway

OPP received reports of a transport truck and trailer which had been ramped onto the highway’s westbound lanes while being driven east.

After being driven roughly 10 km on the north shoulder, witnesses reported it turned around at the westbound OnRoute in Odessa. OPP caught up with the vehicle after it had ramped back onto the highway, this time in the correct direction.

As a result of the investigation, Balwinder Dhaliwal, 48, of Brampton was arrested and charged with dangerous operation.
