Genesis Five Genealogy and its Strange Number Pattern Evidence for Tablet Theory

Genesis chapter five has a very strange number pattern. Unbelieving scholars have suggested that it is evidence that the numbers are fictitious and used to make some symbolic or spiritual point. But there is another hypothesis which bears consideration- the numbers are evidence that the material comes from a period of great antiquity. Moses was using records which were ancient even in his day when he compiled early Genesis. In other words, the Tablet Theory is the best explanation for the data.
