Vice Presidential candidates JD Vance and Tim Walz went after each other’s running mates in the CBS News debate. Several times Vance and Walz agreed with each other, saving the attacks for Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

Other highlights from the debate include a focus on policy, both candidates acknowledging past missteps, and -- at one point -- both candidates microphones being cut off during a heated back-and-forth on immigration.
