Type-B-Negative - Lillies On Your Stone [Gothic Metal / Doom Metal]

I just can’t help but channel those Peter Steele vibes! (With a strong My Dying Bride influence, too.) This time, I went for a more classic slow doom approach, with clear, deep vocals leading the way. I focused on letting the music take the reins on this one, building up to a rich, dark atmosphere by the end.

Hope you enjoy the journey!

Process:

- Carefully craft meaningful, personal lyrics using several lyric AI's.
- Feed those lyrics to music AI's to generate the foundation of the track.
- Describe my mood or the creatures from my mind, and create the song piece by piece with music AI's.
- Envision the imagery that comes to mind while listening to the song, then generate artwork with AI (it can get pretty dark).
- Animate the artwork with AI for a dynamic visual experience.
- Upscale and interpolate all the artwork using Adobe After Effects.
- Edit everything into an abstract music video with some help from AI in Adobe Premiere Pro.

To be clear: this is the result of me spending some time and playing with several AI's. There is NO substitute for the real Type-O-Negative, you know that and i know that!

Lyrics:

The shadows loom, the candle's flicker
I trace your name, the air grows thicker
A whisper soft, a silent plea
But in this space, it's just me

Lost in time
Your memory, a darkened shrine

So here I stand with my own ghosts
I'll haunt the night, I won't let go
With all the gloom that fills my room
Is there no end to this cold tomb?

I can't move on
Planting lilies on your stone

In the depths of my despair
Your face is gone, the world's unfair
Cursed to bear this love alone
A heart entombed, in sorrow sown

The echoes call, no warmth to find
A march of time, so unkind

In shadows gray, I see your gaze
Through the haze, my soul's ablaze
But your touch is just a ghost
A memory I crave the most

In this void, I've made my lair
Underneath the pale moon's glare
Life goes on but I'm unaware
Chained to you, i'm on all night
It's in this grief, I'm out of sight

Left behind
With only echoes you left me to find
