The Light Always Comes by Mijo Biscan is the tenth single from his forthcoming album The Cabin Of Song.

Written in the wild far north of Iceland where the journey began with Mijo, a backpack of groceries on his back, waiting for a rare passing car to offer a lift to his cabin, 50 kilometres away. As car after car passed by, the song’s opening line emerged in a sing-song fashion: “Thanks for nothin’,” a playful nod to the disappointment of yet another vehicle leaving him behind. Yet, as the song progresses, a deeper message of hope takes root—the sun will always rise, and so too will opportunities, no matter how sparse they seem.
