The only winner's of war's are the manufacturers of wars.
The idea that wars are created or prolonged for profit and power has been a longstanding critique of the military-industrial complex. This concept, popularized by former U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower, refers to the close relationship between governments, the military, and the defense industry. These entities benefit financially from prolonged conflicts, which incentivize policies that lead to war or sustain it unnecessarily.
Major defense contractors, such as Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Boeing, and Northrop Grumman, have seen significant profits during times of war, with governments increasing military spending to respond to conflicts. This creates a cycle where political and economic interests become intertwined with military interventions. Critics suggest that this dynamic allows defense industries to exert influence on political decisions that lead to the continuation of wars for economic gain.
