He speaks to why people react in the manner they do and how a knowledgeable True Earther should respond. Very interesting and thought provoking as always from Mr. Dubay.

There is what appears to be a common misquote attributed to Aristotle here...hey, don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Readily agreeing with anyone on everything they may say really hinders a learning curve IMHO. 😀

Each person judges well what they know and is thus a good critic of those things. For each thing in specific, someone must be educated [to be a critic]; to [be a critic in general] one must be educated about everything.”

F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote "the truest sign of intelligence is the ability to entertain two contradictory ideas simultaneously," and Aristotle said "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." Those who are able to refrain from judgement long enough to genuinely research and weigh the evidence from all sides of a given subject are those most likely to arrive at the truth.
