Politically Unstable: A look at the assassination plots against Donald Trump

The recent plot to kill Donald Trump at his golf course bears an eerie resemblance to a video released by an Iranian leader two years ago vowing to assassinate Mr. Trump while showing animated footage of the former president playing golf on the same course Ryan Routh staged his attempted attack.

In this calendar year alone, there have been three attempts on Donald Trump’s life, including a foiled plot by Iran, whose leaders have vowed revenge for the targeted killing of Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad by the U.S. on Jan. 3, 2020.

How real are these threats? Does Iran actually have the resources to carry out an assassination attempt? What can the Biden Administration do to ensure Donald Trump’s safety?
