Veteran Homelessness - Another "Teachable Moment" by Teacher Neil Young on his way to Congress

FACT: Veterans make up 13% of the ENTIRE U.S. homeless population. Does that make you sick to your stomach? It should. The way our veterans are treated in the U.S. is the black eye of our country. We take care of strangers but neglect our most prized possessions: our veterans. These men and women should cherished, not thrown to the wolves. When I am elected into Congress, I will exhaust EVERY...effort to end this charade and get our veterans the assistance and care they deserve.
