During a traumatic childhood I both lost myself in art, and found myself in art---and found God in the process. My gifts for drawing, painting, writing and photography are God-given. I believe God's Hand has always guided mine.
Michelangelo said that "The true work of art is but a shadow of the Divine Perfection." I was always a perfectionist, which helped me to master my craft. It has been a lifelong challenge to loosen up and simply strive for excellence. Like many artists, I am never quite satisfied with my work. I am still learning; a work in progress. It was my great honor to design the Space Shuttle Challenger Commemorative in 1986.
