Mayor Eric Adams’ legal team filed a motion to dismiss a federal bribery charge, citing a recent Supreme Court ruling that limits bribery enforcement.

Adams is accused of accepting luxury travel from Turkish officials in exchange for pressuring FDNY to approve a new Turkish consulate despite safety issues.

His lawyer, Alex Spiro, argued that Adams’ actions were routine for city officials and did not constitute bribery.

The case is one of several investigations into Adams’ administration, as reported by the Gothamist.
