DeSantis Calls on Federal Govt to Help NC; Is Sending Florida Resources to Assist

“We have it handled,” Gov. Ron DeSantis stated on Monday about recovery efforts in Florida following Hurricane Helene. “I think most of the efforts should be in western North Carolina right now,” he stated in terms of federal assistance, as well as announcing the deployment of Florida personnel and equipment to NC to help in ongoing search and rescue efforts.
