Opening Night of Leon's New Baseball Stadium 🇳🇮 Nicaragua

#nicaragua #leonnicaragua #travel Tonight (Friday) is the opening of Leon, Nicaragua's new baseball stadium, the largest not only in the country, but in all of Latin America. Today is the friendship game against Caracas, Venezuela. Larry got me tickets and so Larry, Marcela, Aida and I head to the new stadium to check it out and watch the inaugural series!

Unfortunately the game was rained out after five innings, but it was a really special experience to be there on opening night. This is a really major even for the city of Leon and we got to see Nicaragua's National Team make the first two runs, ever, in the new stadium.
