This is the now-twice-everyday process that I use to meet with Tux.
It's beginning to seem like his medical issue might be diabetes rather than (or just) kidney disease, because his appetite is huge.

Today I fed him about a day's worth of food both in the morning and in the late afternoon, and he shows no signs of stopping. I'm going to try to weigh him again to see how his weight has changed since the first week that he stayed with me, but unfortunately the batteries in the scale just ran out.
