Israel has shown no sign of ending its conflict with Hezbollah in Lebanon.

On Sunday, the Israeli military said they had “struck dozens of Hezbollah targets” in Lebanon overnight and confirmed they were continuing to “operate to degrade and dismantle Hezbollah’s capabilities”.

The Israeli military said it killed Nabil Kaouk, the deputy head of Hezbollah’s central council, in an airstrike on Saturday.

It’s unknown where the strike happened in Lebanon, but the announcement has joined a growing list of escalated attacks Israel has carried out in an attempt to weaken the Iran-backed group in recent weeks.

In what Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called a “historic turning point”, Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an airstrike on Friday.
