Small Ruminant Grazing Strategies: The "hallway"

Rotational grazing means a lot of strategic fence moving. Here's the "hallway" I set up the other day - it goes from the barn to the latest pasture rotation. Ruminants like to fill up on grass several times a day and lay down to chew cud in between, they prefer to do the "grass harvesting" portion during the cooler parts of the day. This hallway gives them free access to both the barn and the pasture all day, freeing up both their schedule and mine 😉
