Doctors hate alternative medicine even if it saves your life! Why? Because Doctors are tribal and no better than the average pub geezer supporting his local sports team. This is why it is impossible to talk to them about alternative treatments, they will just shut down in the same way as if you told your buddies in the supporter club about how great the rival sports team is.

The problem with this is that it hinders scientific progress which results in gruesome suffering for their patients and their families.
