Kari Lake Slams Gallego's Border Stance: 'He's Controlled by Cartels'

Kari Lake criticized @RubenGallego's border security stance, connections, and votes on border aid and Ukraine.

“I want to confront the cartels. I want to bring down the cartels. I want to end the cartels. He will never confront the cartels. He's controlled by them. He has close family members who are drug traffickers.”

Lake portrayed him as a politician out of touch with Arizona, living in D.C., and with a questionable background. She called for the media to investigate Gallego's history more thoroughly.

“Ruben Gallego is frankly a male version of Kamala Harris. It's really despicable though because he allegedly lives in a border state. He should know better. I don't think he really lives here, to be honest.”
