We Cannot Achieve Peace Through Punishment

We cannot punish others or ourselves into the state of peace. If we desire peace, we cannot have a brother or sister who is confuse and suffering, give them more confusion and suffering, and expect anything other from them than adding more confusion and suffering to this world. Those who are experience confusion and suffering in their life, lack clarity and self-love. Those who lack clarity and self-love, need clarity and love, not a deferment of them. Today when we look upon those who are suffering or putting this world through suffering, if we cannot, or do not have, the self awareness to think of them and directly offer them love, then let us focus deeply on what/who we do love, and then offer that love to them. At first this may simply seem like a symbolic gesture, yet the more you practice it, the more you will see and feel how in alignment this act is with your true nature. The more you feel and experience this alignment, the more natural and honest it will become. To learn to love those we once found unlovable will be a great example to set for this world and all future generations.
