Scope & Content: Reel 1, a railway bn. trains: locomotives are repaired and operated; a track section is "bombed" and repaired; and a bulldozer levels a roadbed at Camp Claiborne, Tex. Japanese footage: Japanese troops, protected by naval guns, land on the China coast in a practice maneuver. Reel 2 shows destruction in Rotterdam caused by German bombing; Japanese troops land in the East Indies. Shows Queen Wilhelmina in Eng., Dutch and colonial troops training in Canada, and Dutch air cadets flying in Miss. Pvt. Snafu, in an Arctic outpost, learns by magic television that U.S. citizens are working wholeheartedly for the war effort.
