Today on Day 232 of my sobriety, I listened to Dan Vasc’s version of "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence. Before diving into the music, I talked about how I’m recording this early in the morning since I have a full 2-hour workout session coming up at 10 AM. I knew I’d be tired later, so I wanted to get this in early.

When it comes to the song, I really enjoyed Dan Vasc’s take on it. Interestingly, when this track first came out, I didn’t like it at all. Back then, I was so immersed in electronic music that I didn’t appreciate other genres. But as I've matured over time, this song has grown on me. Now, I truly connect with the lyrics, which feel like a huge motivational anthem for getting your life back on track. It's powerful, and I think Dan did a great job bringing new energy to an already iconic track. This song is a reminder that music can hit differently as you grow and change.
