Cobble Clatter

I think the clatter of waves receding over a cobble beach is one of the most beautiful sounds in nature. Unfortunately, this sound is frustratingly difficult to capture: the beach needs the correct composition, the waves must have the correct frequency and height, the area needs to be free of car and pedestrian noise, etc.
This short clip has a couple of good examples of what I'm looking for, the first right at around 00:25 and the second at around 00:50. What you don't see is that this is the only one of about twenty recordings I took this day that I thought was acceptable. In all the others, the waves were too gentle, or a walker on the nearby public path was having a loud conversation on their phone, or the engine noise of a passing car ruined the ambiance.
I hadn't planned to shoot any footage this day and recorded this video with my mobile phone, hence the wind noise, and uneven horizon angle. Luckily, I otherwise have pretty stable hands!
