ROSSDATRON

Composed of longtime Knoxville music greats Steve Corrigan and Ross Heatherly, Rossdatron is a psychadelic mix of reggae, trace, bluegrass, rock, metal, trance and tribal music. The act blends Heatherly’s vocals, guitar, mandolin, dobro, synthesizer and other instruments with Corrigan’s drums, percussion and banjo. The duo come by the eclectic combination naturally. Corrigan is or has been a part of jazz funk pop fusion band Scubatron, jazz act Concrete Donkey, rock acts King Super and the Excellents, the Kevin Abernathy Band, and The Lonetones; bluegrass act Big Country’s Empty Bottle, soul act the John Myers Band, and the Taking Heads tribute act Same As It Ever Was. Ross Heatherly is also known for his work as Rossdafareye, a solo act that features live looping, the jam band Ross and Friends, and the funk rock group Smooth Operationz.
