Environmental activists poured soup on two paintings “Sunflowers” by Vincent Van Gogh in the London National Gallery

The paintings were not damaged, and the perpetrators were detained.

The environmental activists did this a few hours after the court sentenced two other Just Stop Oil activists to two years and 20 months in prison for pouring tomato soup on the same Sunflowers in October 2022.
