Detroit police push for peaceful weekend downtown after violence last week

Police and the public are hoping for a different weekend downtown after the last was spoiled by violence. So far, it’s a beautiful, busy night as you may expect. With the Tigers’ game and the grand prix this weekend, but we’ve also seen a lot of police and that’s by design.
