For this track from his Edgar Allan Poe concept album THE RAVEN (Reprise, 2003), Lou Reed teamed up with legendary avant-garde jazz saxophonist Ornette Coleman - an early idol as well as a direct musical influence on the Velvet Underground's epic "Sister Ray." Lou considered this to be one of the high points of his long career. (The lyrics were inspired by Poe's story "The Imp of the Perverse.")
