Goshuin Hunting In Osaka | Experience This Amazing Pilgrimage Journey!

Hey Guys!
Walking around Osaka, will lead you to the most amazing shrines. Which means, more Goshuins! Goshuin hunting is such a beautiful, spiritual experience here in Japan. The history behind this pilgrimige goes as far back as the Nara period (710–794). Sadly, it's becoming a dying "art form" as the new generation isn't taking up caligraphy. Also, due to overtourism, less temples and shrines are physically writing Goshuins in your Goshuin-cho. Insread, they are handing out pre-made Goshuins. Which you can paste right into your Goshuin-cho.

We sold everything we had and packed our lives into 40L backpacks. On November 17, 2019 we were well on our way to traveling all across S.E. Asia. We didn’t know where the year would take us.
