'Hard to see' a defense for Eric Adams, says NYC legal analyst

After U.S. prosecutors on Thursday (September 26) charged New York City Mayor Eric Adams with accepting illegal campaign contributions and luxury travel from Turkish nationals seeking to influence him, it was "hard to see what the defense would be" in the words of Richard Briffault, a professor at Columbia University Law School.
