In a grief-stricken voice, Patty Morin provided details of the rape and killing of her daughter.

"An illegal immigrant from El Salvador had waited for her on the trail. I was told that (he) grabbed her, dragged her through the woods, raped her, strangled her, murdered her. Her body was blanketed in bruises," Patty Morin said. "I can tell you, from looking at her at the funeral home, that it was probably the most graphic thing that I have ever seen. These murders are very horrendous. He stuffed her into a drainpipe."
