Spain New Tourism Law 🇪🇸 the Fall of Europe Travel 🇪🇺

New tourist law in #spain goes into effect on October 1, 2024 that requires hotels, hostels, AirBnB and similar to collect and transmit large amounts of details about guests including indentification, bank accounts and credit card information to the government. What does this mean for privacy? What does it mean for tourist safety? How does this fly under European Union privacy regulations?

Europe has long been considered the ideal travel destination, but is that still true today? Are we witnessing the long, slow decline and fall of the European tourism empire?
