Many Glaciers... a very SPECIAL PART of Glacier National Park!

Many Glacier is a region in Glacier National Park, Montana, located on the east side of the park, north of the Going-to-the-Sun Road.
Many Glacier is known for its many lakes, waterfalls, alpine meadows, and coniferous forests. Some of the major sites in the area include:
Lake Sherburne: A large lake in the area
Swiftcurrent Lake: A lake where visitors can take a tour boat
Grinnell Glacier: A glacier that can be accessed by trail
Iceberg Cirque: A site that can be accessed by trail
Ptarmigan Tunnel: A hiking tunnel carved into the mountainside in the 1930s
Some activities in the area include: hiking, horseback riding, fishing, camping, and ranger-guided nature hikes.
The best time to visit Many Glacier is during the summer months, from June to September, when the weather is mild and the roads are clear. However, it's also peak season, so it may be more crowded and accommodations may be harder to find.
