Robinson XCR-L in 6.5 Grendel | AR-15 Platform with a Larger Caliber

Welcome back to Tactical Weapon Combat Ready! In this video, we’re taking a closer look at the Robinson XCR-L, chambered in 6.5 Grendel. This setup is what I believe the military should have considered — an AR-15-style platform, but with a 6.5mm caliber to deliver both power and range, while maintaining reduced recoil.

Key Features:
6.5 Grendel Chambering: A hard-hitting round in a smaller AR-15 platform, making it perfect for both accuracy and range.
9-Inch Barrel: While not ideal for extreme long-range shooting, it offers maneuverability and still delivers solid performance.
Ambidextrous Controls: The rifle’s magazine release, bolt catch, and more are accessible from both sides for ease of use, whether you're a left or right-handed shooter.
With the 6.5 Grendel, this rifle strikes a balance between manageable recoil and strong hitting power, even in a compact form. It's easy to operate with quick reloads, and the modularity of the XCR-L allows for easy barrel swaps. While the 9-inch barrel isn’t optimized for the longest distances, we’re still testing how well it performs in terms of accuracy and damage.
