Woman Cashing Stolen Checks Leads Police Down a Rabbit Hole

On November 16, 2023 in Florida, officers responded to a call regarding a suspected fraud at a local credit union. The caller reported that a woman was attempting to cash a check from an account that had been flagged due to suspicious activity. When the first officer arrived on scene, he found the woman standing outside the front doors. This is body cam footage of the events that followed.
