Elk River Kayaking in Tennessee

Nice little Labor Day trip down the Elk River. For this trip, we used Elk River Canoe Rental for our kayaking equipment. They also shuttles us to the launching spot and they picked us up at the end of the trip and took us back to the base. It was a great trip with really great weather. Though it was partly cloudy, my legs and arms got quite burnt. I should have used some sun screen.

Elk River Canoe Rental has quite a few different length runs that they provide. We hope in the near future to take one of their longer trips. We may even try out one of their over night trips too.
