American censorship a lesson from history

There has been an alarming rise in the level of censorship in the United States. An unholy alliance between big technology companies and the US government has worked to censor information they do not wish for Americans to see. These censorship activities include sophisticated techniques of sabotage including shadow banning dissenting voices, demonetization of conservative pundits, and the demotion or outright deletion of controversial posts. All these activities are antithetical to the foundation of what it means to be an American. Censorship is not compatible with the American form of federalism.
