Marion School Board president steps down after backlash over Facebook post supporting Roseanne Barr

The Marion Community Schools board president has stepped down from her position following backlash over a post that she shared on her personal social media page in support of actress Roseanne Barr.  Cathy Mortiz emailed her resignation to the rest of the board on Thursday saying "I am sorry for the message that was conveyed"
