Taiwan says US sent faulty, damaged military equipment - WION

When can US allies learn their lessons and wake up to the harsh reality that America is indirectly governed by the military industrial complex? Taiwan is so blindly obstinate in aligning to US and had to bear it out by accepting deficient and obsolete U.S. weapons at exorbitant prices?
We in the Phl may learn a few pointers from the Taiwan experience too?
