Maylands Aerodrome existed in the Early half of the 1930's for a few years and Hillmans Airways operated flights out from Maylands. In 1936 Maylands Golf Club was created (I think the Airfield stopped being used in 1936). There still remains a few steps that were at the back of a hanger right by the river/stream, which has the M25 motorway not far from it to the North.
The hanger and all other aerodrome buildings are long gone, though there may well be some foundations still remaining underneath the soil where the aerodrome once existed.
