Tiffany Henyard Illegally Charged Over $16,400 To Taxpayers For Her Own Political Campaign Event
Here is what Henyard purchased under Thornton Township’s name for her campaign event:
Bouncy Houses: $2100
Generator: $600
DJ Experience: $1300 (can’t find business registration with SoS)
Walt’s Food Center: $8112
Special Event Rentals: $817
Sanitation: $2100 (est)
Payroll for township employees: $586
Golf Cart Rentals: $817
Total is over $16,400
These expenses clearly violate state law and Article VIII, Section 1, of the Illinois Constitution, and we urge residents to send this information to the Cook County State’s Attorney demanding she prosecute Tiffany Henyard and any Township employees assisting her for her use of public funds for this political campaign event.
Additionally, the township board should demand Henyard’s performance bond pay for these items.
