UN Security Council reform: Members call for changes to veto powers

As the UN General Assembly convenes, many members are again calling for changes to the Security Council.
In particular, there are questions about the veto granted to the five permanent members: the UK, the US, Russia, China and France.
Critics say the veto has been used to protect allies, as well as to prevent or stall UN peacekeeping.
