The race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump proceeds on a continuous knife edge, meaning the votes of the undecided are vitally important to each candidate. Even if every Democrat voter studiously falls in line this November, Kamala’s flip-flopping could be her undoing among independents, and could therefore lose her the presidency.
