Adventure 14.5: Caring For the Dog That Takes Care of Me

Having a good dog companion for the woods and wilderness is a must for me. Of all the wilderness, bushcraft, survival gear, my dog outweighs them all in importance. It's a symbiotic relationship: Taking good care of my hearty woodsman's dog, and in turn he takes good care of me. Keeping him and myself both comfortable. Staying busy when stuck in the shelter, many miles deep in true wilderness. Rainy, wet conditions and a cozy place to hole up. Plenty of options are possible, but not always practical, or sensible.
