The film exposes dynamics of power in tyrannical systems of organization, where resent, fear, desperation, and passivity are driving forces. Beauty gives way to ugliness once the true light displaces the false; behind the veil lies a grotesque perversion of motherhood. Clownish figures and subtle gestures under moving light deliver living portraitures, unchanging pictures of change. The film follows the sad, comedic lives of clowns living in a clown factory, where bodily fluids function as currency, and caged beings compulsively perform masochistic rituals in order to survive.
