In this lecture we will review Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD) according to the DSM5-TR -- Which includes: the diagnostic criteria, Diagnostic Features, Differential Diagnosis and Comorbidity.

How is Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD) different from Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Intermittent Explosive Disorder.

The Diagnostic Criteria includes: Severe recurrent temper outbursts manifested verbally (e.g., verbal rages) and/or behaviorally (e.g., physical aggression toward people or property) that are grossly out of proportion in intensity or duration to the situation or provocation.
