A little vlog of my day attending the 70th anniversary celebrations for Pendon Museum in Long Wittenham, Oxfordshire, including stock images & footage taken for my podcast, Michael's Mission. Pendon Museum was a great spot for this, telling its story through a series of model railway exhibits featuring models of real buildings from across the Cotswolds and West Country as recorded in the 1920s & 1930s, before they were either demolished or modified. As the models are static, they are much larger than the transportable exhibits typically seen at model railway exhibitions, affording some fantastic opportunities to capture with modern digital photography the long-gone landscapes of early 20th century rural England.
