Teen Hiker Takes A Tumble

What happens when you record every waking moment? Well, you might just capture something funny by accident. Take this rag tag group of millennial hikers, for instance. They all have devices in their hands, commemorating the banality of their lives. But like anything, it’s only banal until it isn’t.

The leader of this pack, the girl in the pink shirt and sunglasses, is also recording, in selfie-mode no less, as the group embarks on their wooded trek (on a side note, Wood Trek: The Computer Generation has a nice ring to it). The young boy donning the Rangers tee, no doubt still bristling over Toronto Blue Jays legend Jose Bautista’s post-home run bat flip in the 2015 ALDS, provides amusing commentary, as though the gang is stranded out there.

“Day 146… cold, hungry, no food, no water…” After that his monologue is abruptly interrupted when pink tee girl takes a nasty tumble whilst hiking. Luckily for her, she seemed to be more than fine after, but lucky for us she had her phone rolling the entire time! It’s great to get an angle like this captured, such an interesting vantage point!

Everyone had a real good laugh over this one, but you know who’s not laughing? That boy, a Rangers superfan, whenever he thinks about his team blowing a 2 games to 0 division series lead against the Blue Jays in 2015 only to squander it. Then the Jays eliminated them again the following year. Ouch! And to add insult to injury, Joey Bat’s epic bat flip as the exclamation point. Texans really hate showboating, unless it’s hair or hats. Or constantly talking about how everything is bigger there. But who’s counting?
