Quick & Easy Beer Batter Fried Mushrooms recipe that's crispy and delicious!

Ingredients:
1 lb whole mushrooms (baby bella or white button)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 cup beer (lager or pale ale works great)
Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Mushrooms:
Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp cloth or quickly rinsing them and patting dry. If the mushrooms are large, cut them in half.
2. Make the Beer Batter:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Slowly pour in the beer while whisking continuously until you get a smooth batter. The consistency should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
3. Heat the Oil:
Heat about 1½ to 2 inches of oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium-high heat. The oil should reach about 350°F (175°C) for frying.
4. Fry the Mushrooms:
Dip each mushroom in the beer batter, coating it fully, and carefully place it into the hot oil.
Fry in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry each batch for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden and crispy, turning occasionally.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the mushrooms and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
5. Serve:
Serve the fried mushrooms hot with your favorite dipping sauce (ranch, garlic aioli, or spicy ketchup are great options).
Tips:
If you prefer extra crispy mushrooms, dip the mushrooms in the beer batter, then into some extra flour before frying.
Use cold beer for a lighter and crispier batter.
